Bappa.... Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Yaa

Today is immersion day of our Ganpati Bappa and its very emotional for many of us. We don't wish He goes, wish He always stays with us, in our homes, wish He always smiles at us. But He has to go, or so is the norm. So we take a promise from our cute Ganuji to come back next year to us and that too very soon!

I think we are selfish, the whole mankind. We just ask Him to give us this, give us that or at the most thank Him for giving us this or giving us that! Its high time we make a promise to Him too.

Bappa.. Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Yaa (Lord Ganesha, come back soon next year). I hope you see a better world next time, hope you see humanity in mankind. Hope you come to observe that one half of the population has now started respecting the other half and no more considers them as a mere objects but as equal human being. Hope you see more love and less violence. Hope you see more happiness and less sorrow and dejection. Hope the world is cured of deadly diseases. Hope no one country bosses around the world and drops bombs over another at its whims. Hope the media becomes more responsible and hope the citizens becomes more responsible too!

There are many more things on my hope list but I think I should stop now. Even if we are able to give you all this, I do not think so we will ask you for more. Then will be the time for gratitude alone. *fingers crossed*
