Today I am here with a review of one of my favourite categories of skin care products, i.e., face mask. I believe face masks are a great way to pamper one's skin at home. A good face mask cleanses, nourishes and prevents sogginess in skin along with other benefits depending on the product characters.

What Vaadi Herbals Chandan Kesar Haldi Face Pack claims: This face pack is a scientifically developed complexion- enhancing formulation. It is excellent for smoothing and evening the skin. This age-old combination of Chandan, Kesar and Haldi effectively exfoliates dead skin cells from the surface. It fights tanning, fades dark spots and blemishes; and lightens overall tone of the skin.

My Experience with Vaadi Herbals Chandan Kesar Haldi Face Pack:

To start with I would like to mention that I do not personally like the fragrance of this pack. It smells of rose and chandan but something else too, which irritates my nose. This said, the pack is moderately effective in what it claims. I would like to highlight that it removes tan with regular usage and I am very happy with it. I had a bad forehead tan. I used this pack daily before night time CTM and within a week I could see my forehead clear.

As for removal of dark spots and blemishes, I don't think it helps much. I gave the pack to my MIL also as she is having dark blemishes on her cheek but this one did not make much of a difference to it.

This is a runny pack, in fact so runny that it does not dry out completely like a normal mud pack. As per instructions, we have to relax (wait) till pack dries completely. But neither do I have so much patience, nor time. I just keep the pack for 20 minutes and then wash it off. Being runny, the pack glides on smoothly giving it an ease of application.

My Final Take: I will not purchase this pack again for sure as it does not stand out much. But whenever I feel a need to remove tan, I will definitely look upto it. I hope, the company changes the composition a bit, so that the fragrance improves. All in all, it's an ok product!
