My Experience with Enliven Conditioning Nail Polish Remover
I am not much of a nail polish fan so obviously have not tried many nail polish removers. Initially I use to buy the acetone liquid we get at medical stores to use as nail polish removers but I noticed that they were not doing any good to my nails. The nails were left with a unusual whitish cast and they also became prone to much breakage. That was hint enough for me to try some good quality removers. So, while browsing online (which has become an addiction sort), I came across this nail polish remover with a promise of conditioning the nails. Also the product claimed to be not tested on animals. This made me buy the product to try out.
Enliven is a UK brand specializing in skin and hair beauty and care products.
This nail polish remover has impressed me from the word Go. It's easy and fast and removes nail paints with minimal effort. The best thing about this is that it does not leave the nail and skin around it with a whitish cast. Smells good and has definitely not harmed my nail in any way if not conditioned or strengthened them. Also I found that the difficult to remover glitter nail paints also come out with the help of this easily.
Yes, presence of acetone may be a concern for some but I believe the concentration is not so high to harm the nail/ skin. Plus it is a solvent because of which the remover is working so effortlessly. Nonetheless, it's harmful and utmost care is advised.
My Final Take: With so many good things about this one, I have become a fan of this. Acetone may be concern for some, but I have found this in almost all drugstore brands. Will lay my hands soon on a non-acetone remover. Also remember, that because of acetone only, it is able to easily remove the stubborn glitter nail paints. Another worry factor for some may be the price, but believe me when I say that it is worth every single penny. And the whole bottle will last for a very long time thus a paisa vasool performance!
I love this product too! :)
ReplyDeletesame pinch :)
DeleteWow, I didn't know that Enliven makes a nailpaint remover too. When I was in Mumbai a decade ago, some girls had introduced me to Acetone and yes I agree, that really damages nails. Recently got a nailpaint remover from Colorbar and it smells too soapy. I didn't like it. Will surely give this a try next. Thanks for the review dear.
ReplyDeleteacetone really damages one's nails.. better to invest some amount and go for non-acetone removers.. and yes colorbar has its own cons but still i like it also :)
