Lotus Herbal Nutraglow Daily Tinted Moisturiser SPF 25- Review & Swatches

Hello people,

How are the days treating you? Mine have been quite hectic.

The product that I am going to review today is Lotus Herbal Nutraglow Daily Tinted Moisturiser with SPF 25. It was a chance found and I am glad that I did. It really helped my combination skin cope in this sticky summer Mumbai weather and also proving to be quite good in this slight chilled weather. And, I must add, a perfect moisturiser for that dewy fresh Valentine look.

Price & Quantity: INR 475/- for 50 ml

Shelf Life: 36 months

Ingredients:

My Experience with Lotus Herbal Nutraglow Daily Tinted Moisturiser

As you can see, this is tinted moisturiser from Lotus which serves the dual purpose of foundation and moisturiser without being too heavy like a foundation alone. The consistency is appropriate. The product comes in a glass bottle with a squeeze-in nozzle and a single squeeze brings out the right amount of product for your face and neck. The right method to use it is to dot it all over your cleansed face and blend.

Coming to the blending part, this moisturiser, blends like a dream. It gives medium coverage and an instant glow to the skin. Follow it up with a face powder or compact and you are good to go to any outing. Gives good coverage for 3-4 hours and then the effects begin to fade and re-application is needed. But before re-applying I would suggest proper cleansing of the skin or else the residual product may clog pores and won't blend in smoothly too.

This product claims to be for skin types but I feel oily skin beauties will feel greasy on application. For my skin type also I have to make sure to do touch up with compact if I am out in the sun. Still I feel this product is better than most of the BB creams that I have used as it blends superbly and does not leave any white cast. Also it has SPF 25 which is adequate for sun exposure in monsoon and winter.

The only risk carrying it on travel is that it is a glass bottle although its quite sturdy. The cap also remains fixed and does not come off in the purse.

My Final Take: I am loving using this moisturiser these days but I think I will not re-purchase it. There are two reasons for it. One being, a small quantity is enough for a usage and this bottle shall last me a good 7-8 months, post which I am sure I would be quite bored to use it again. Second, I like experiment and after I finish this, I shall buy some now tinted moisturiser ;P
