This Blog "The Purple Notebook" is written, edited and maintained by me.

I prefer indigenous, herbal and organic brands over brands loaded with chemicals. So it will not be surprising if you find my review category skewed towards the former. However, it does not mean that I totally avoid chemical - consisting products.

The reviews of beauty and skin care products you find on this blog have been done by me after personally trying those products for a minimum of 4 weeks. Also the products have been purchased by me. In case, I receive a PR sample for review, it will clearly find its mention in the blog post and will not make my review biased.

Image Disclosure: The images uploaded on the blog are my own, unless stated otherwise. As for the images uploaded from the web, due credit is given (wherever applicable). If anyone has any kind of objection, do drop me a mail. If anyone wishes to use the images from this blog, obtain permission from me and also provide a link back to this blog from your blog post.
