I have been waiting to do this for so long but couldn't... Now I am here sharing you what I have to... So all the best to me!!...


Its not that everyday a working married lady gets to pamper herself, least splurge on items of her choice. I got a chance (stealed it actually) though and utilised it to the full. Flowing in the trend of online shopping of cosmetics, I made two mini hauls (I don't know if they can be categorised as hauls, anyway) from two different websites that have made me totally fall in love them.

Strike against Striking out the Right to Strike

Hope I am not too confusing... To simplify things a bit, lemme explain you what really happened.

Our dear autowalas are aggrieved by some fact and they went on strike recently to protest against it. Now the fact is that Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is coming out with a rule that will punish autowalas if they go on strike to manwao their official / inofficial demands. Ab hamare autowalas isse ruth gaye and they went on a strike to protest against this striking of the right to strike!!... :) Simple....

Even as the government has enforced the Maharashtra Essential Services Maintenance Act 2011

A day when everything went wrong

The title reminds me of a famous short essay that my teacher in junior grades used to give to write and describe a whole day when everything went wrong with me. I definitely am very much above the agae, that I attempt to write anything of that sort but my day out today will definitely serve as a reference to my next generation.

After marriage, I seem to have understood the real meaning of Monday Blues. Getting up on a monday to get ready for office is not a good idea at all, Sirji. Nonetheless I have to do it as no angel will come to save me the pain. So, today finally after setting the alarm at 5 min snooze for over half an hour, I got up, got dressed, had my breakfast and was prepared to leave for office. My husband usually drops me to the local station from where I board the train to my destination. The blues became darker when I found the bike's tyre was punctured and I had to go alone now.

Well March was a hectic month for me. Not that it was because of financial year ending or the budget planning. How quickly the month ended, I din't get to know. My 2nd sister-in-law with her kid came over to stay. It was an enjoyable and memorable stay. Also I made two big online hauls (don't know if they qualify to be called big or haul for that matter) but I did it for the first time. I bought a lot of aroma face packs, facial sprays, face washes, face wipes and many more. I will review the products one by one.

Welcome March...

i dont have much to celebrate in the month of march but still i feel like its going to be something different.. February brought along too many learnings for me. enjoyed in jaipur, met a lot of people, got to know how things are viewed differently in different circumstances, came close to a few relatives, made new friends, visited mom's place in kanpur... i have had an experience of a lifetime. And yes, in the last week of February, I received a cheque from an online survey site for my contribution. Though i got it after two years of effort but nonetheless it was satisfying.

Desperately looking forward to see what March has in store for me.
