Amazing they are @

With the advent of e-commerce websites, everyone is shopping like crazy. Some names are big to count on while some others are small players. In short, there is a herd of players now in this cut- throat competitive industry for the customers to choose from. One has to be constantly on his toes and cannot expect loyalty for too long. In such an environment, what makes on enterprise a unique one, is its ability to touch the cord with its customers (real investors!!) and this is what makes them stand apart. Today I am going to talk about one such website that has completely bowled me over with its wide variety of product range and brand, exquisite website design, user friendly navigation, awesome sales and above all super sensitive and humble customer care team.


I got to know about Purplle last year and shopped with them for the first time in October 2012. That time the minimum order amount to qualify for free shipping was 400 (I guess). They gave me a confirmation email. and the order reached in flat two days and I was impressed. The day I received my order, I received a thank you mail from them and a request to submit my feedback. They had a pre-designed questionnaire asking questions about their services and when I submitted the filled questionnaire, they send me an email offering me a 5% discount on my next purchase. Isn't that amazing! This discount coupon motivated me to shop with them again and again.

Recently they have introduced one more feature that if you share your purchase online through facebook/ twitter/ linkedin, they again offer a 5% discount. Purplle has a reward program in which if you review any product of theirs, you get points and you can redeem those points on your purchases. Pretty cool haan!!.. Plus they always have awesome discounts and season sales coming up. All this and more has made me their fan.


I would particularly like to narrate a recent incident while shopping with them. I happened to place an order of Label.m dry shampoo along with other products from the site. On the next day, they called and informed me that this particular product is out of stock and will take long to replenish plus one other product in my cart was unavailable with them. They asked whether I wanted to wait or want a refund or something else in exchange. I told them that I would like to wait for the dry shampoo while for the other product, I mailed them the requirements which they happily obliged and partly shipped the products. Now the most amazing thing is that they kept on updating me the status of the dry shampoo and also gave me the option of refund. I mean I have not come across an e-commerce site that is so considerate! It is a different story that finally I had to seek refund for the dry shampoo but the awesome part is that they kept me informed as every step.
