Colorbar Nail Enamel Remover- Review

Hello everyone,

TGIF. What are your plans for the weekend? I am off to a week's holiday! Moving on to the product that I will be going to review folks- Colorbar Nail Enamel Remover. Read on to know how I liked it.

Price & Quantity: Rs. 125/- for 110 ml

My Experience with Colorbar Nail Enamel Remover: The biggest selling point of this nail paint remover apart from the obvious property of removing nail paints is "ACETONE FREE", "TOLUENE FREE" & "DBP FREE". Earlier to this I had used the Envilen one but it had acetone in it. So at the sight of this one, I jumped. I got a small bottle of 110ml and mind you it's pricey for the quantity.

The first thing that you will notice is the smell, that some of you may not be able to link to a nail polish remover. I think it is because of the absence of acetone in it. It is pale white in color.

Again, because of lack of acetone, it requires quite some time to be able to remove the nail paint with it. Let me tell you, it isn't a wonderful product for removing glitter nail paints as it tends to leave behind much glitter and you have to use double the quantity to be able to remove the glitters too.

My Final Take: I think I will not buy this one again as it pricey. Yes, it is acetone free and for that it can afford to be expensive but this much is not acceptable. Plus it is not at all helping with glitter nail polishes. It surely does nourish the nails and does not dry them, but would love to look out for other brands. I am sure many would be acetone-free. If you know of one, do let me know or as and when I spot one, will update you guys.

xoxo

  2. Oh this has been my fav as it removes all Maybelline Glitter Mania nail polishes pretty quickly. Try this tip: place cotton soaked in nail polish remover for few seconds on nails and then wipe it off!
